Rosella and Doyle Oursler Fund

People come and go from our lives — sometimes we see them again and sometimes we don't.  Some people are the last to hold their family names and wonder, How can I ensure that my family's name will always be remembered?

Doyle Oursler found a way:  In 2002 he created two endowed funds with the Posey County Community Foundation to benefit Smith Township, in northern Posey County, forever.  Both carry his family name and, at the same time, honor his wife Roselle and himself.  Oursler grew up in Posey County and felt moved to pledge his support with the Posey County Community Foundation.

The first fund, the Rosella and Doyle Oursler Scholarship Fund benefits seniors at North Posey High School who live in Smith Township. Click here to learn more about this and all of the scholarships available through our Community Scholarship Program.

The second fund, the Rosella and Doyle Oursler Fund was created to improve the quality of life for youth and adults in Smith Township. To submit an application for this funding opportunity, visit the Discretionary Grants Program page.
